The spreading coronavirus cancelled several festivals and concerts Martin Garrix was supposed to do, but here is a uncancellable new venue : his home.
The year 2020 had a nice start with shows in Germany, the USA, Dubaï and Brasil. But then, last month with the evolution of Covid-19 around the World, all festivals was cancelled from Tomorrowland Winter to Ultra Miami.
As we don't know yet when Martin Garrix's tour will resume, it seems it's not for tomorrow, as major summer festivals are about to be cancelled or postponed. But around all these bad news, Martin decided to offer us something positive : he recorded a set, from his house in Amsterdam. This "quarantine show" will be streamed on YouTube tomorrow, Saturday, April 11th, at 7.00pm (Amsterdam time) - (1PM EST / 10AM PST / 2 PM BST / 10.30PM IST / 1AM CST / 3AM AEST) .
As many of us, Martin Garrix is forced to stay at home. He's currently working on new musical projects, he finalized his upcoming single "Higher Ground" which will be out on May 7th. As he told in the IG conversation, he's also working on Area21 as we expect something major for 2021.
Martin Garrix is the musical artist of UEFA Euro 2020. The anthem released was planned for this month, but as the competition was postponed to Summer of 2021, the single is also delayed to April of 2021.
For reliable informations about Covid-19, you should visit World Health Organisation official website and follow recommandations from your authorities. Take care of you, everyone.
